Countdown Records was founded by Eddie Pillar, Maxine Forrest and Terry Rawlings as an offshoot of the legendary Stiff
Records.
It became a central label in the '80s Mod Revival, signing two of the most important bands of the era: The Prisoners and Makin' Time.
Reignited under the Acid Jazz umbrella, a series of new and catalogue releases are anticipated. Watch this space!
